John is in his mid 30’s and plays in basketball leagues at his local gym. He initially came to us for a recurring back problem that stems from being 20 pounds over weight and from the bumps and bruises that basketball requires. Dr. Sanchez put John on a heavy dose of S.M.A.R.T Stretch Technique and a tailored nutritional plan so he can lose the unwanted weight and fuel his body for those workouts. I sat down with John to discuss his goals:
Lose 15 to 20 pounds
Become a better shooter
Improve his ball handling
Improve his defense
Become an all round scorer
Since his games are on Wednesday we set a schedule of Monday and Friday workouts. He is required to keep a food diary or fill out a meal plan everyday and do the S.M.A.R.T Stretch technique once a day.
