For the beginner to the elite athlete, Up2Speed
Training combines explosive strength training
techniques along with a rehabilitative therapy
approach to create a faster, stronger, more
balanced athlete. Hand-eye coordination
drills, plyometrics, speed training and cutting
edge resistance training techniques are all
implemented into an athlete's training regiment
in order to increase performance, while
decreasing the risk of injury. Using
modern medical approaches, workouts are designed
specific to age, gender, sport, position and
function. Movements are broken down into
segmental functional movements. These
movements are then perfected and combined to
create a fluid motion that is functional and
used specifically for that athlete.
For the individual who has a goal for better
health and wellness, the trainer is able to
combine nutrition and activities of all levels
to keep the client focused. The client who
wants to physically change their appearance for
personal or psychological benefits can have
their workout program designed specific to their
current biomechanical and fitness level, to
maximize their time and efficiency, thus
resulting in a shorter time period to attain
their goal.
